  1. Download the disk image

    Click "Download for Mac" above. Your browser saves TXT Terminal.dmg to your Downloads folder.

  2. Open TXT Terminal.dmg

    Double-click the downloaded file. A window opens showing the TXT Terminal app icon next to your Applications folder.

  3. Drag the app into Applications

    Drag the TXT Terminal icon onto the Applications icon, as shown below. macOS copies the app — the .dmg window can be closed and ejected afterward.

  4. Launch from Terminal

    Open your Mac's Terminal app and run txt. First launch will ask you to connect an AI provider.

macOS may show an "unidentified developer" warning on first open until the app is notarized. Control-click the app and choose Open to proceed once, or approve it in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
